The Puma, a variant of the Sdkfz 234, is often considered one of the most aesthetically pleasing armoured cars of World War II. Featuring a fully enclosed turret housing a 5cm gun and thicker armor compared to other variants, the Puma managed to maintain impressive speeds exceeding 50 miles per hour (about 85 km/h). Deployed as a scout vehicle from 1943 onwards on both the Eastern and Western fronts, its enhanced armor, while beneficial, did not provide substantial protection against enemy fire.
The Puma's fully enclosed turret was equipped with a KwK 30 50mm gun.
